an interview with you ;

This weeks interview is with Rachel (@home _ on _ cranberrymeadows)

Looking out onto beautiful views of the Lancashire moors; Rachel, her husband of 10 years and 2 year old daughter Ivy live in a newbuild home - the second that they have owned but not yet their ‘forever home’.

Styled to perfection with delicate details throughout and a calming colour scheme Rachel finds inspiration for her home on Instagram, Pinterest and watching the wonderful Lydia Millen on YouTube - “I love watching Lydia Millen over on YouTube - I’m always making mental notes when I see her home updates!

A home is somewhere you come home to after a busy day, light a candle and feel relaxed and content. It’s the cosy comforts that really make all the difference.” - Rachel

Your favourite home purchase?

It has to be my headboard from Neptune. I’d been lusting after it ever since I saw it in their Knutsford store. It’s always a talking point when I meet new creators and my followers always question where it’s from!

Worst home decision / purchase?

I think it would be having tiles all throughout our downstairs. Although it’s easy to keep clean, the colour shows every little crumb that Ivy leaves and it’s rather cold. If I was to go back in time I would have wood flooring.

Where did you first hear about Alterme Home?

I saw some of my favourite accounts sharing their beautiful cushions and when the draft excluders had been shared via stories I knew it would be the perfect Mother’s Day gift for my mum who’s currently re decorating her living room

Rachel’s favourite piece(s) from our collection?

Anything green and floral will always catch my eye!

Just for fun… we asked Rachel if she was a cushion from our range which one would she be?

I think it would have to be the Sicily, it’s such a classic

We are also big fans of Rachels Neptune headboard - it’s an impactful feature without being overwhelming due to the calming colour scheme. Her home and styling is so considered, with every room flowing seamlessly into the next. If you’d like to take a peak inside Rachel’s family home you can follow her journey here @home_on _cranberrymeadows

Adding warmth with colour and texture; this basket, apron & tea towel collectively soften the clean lines of Rachel’s stunning kitchen, her styling is both practical and beautiful.

THE Neptune headboard, as big fans of print at Alterme we love the design and the way the base colour of the fabric headboard contrasts against the panneling with the print in a similar shade to tie the two together. Another perfectly styled room!
