How Long will my Order Take?
Each item is handmade to order and is usually dispatched within 7-10 business days, sometimes the fabric for your order may take several weeks to reach us and we will email to let you know of any delays as soon as we are aware.
Some of our products are available for next day delivery and therefore sometimes we may ship parts of your order separately.
Some products will take a little longer if we do not stock the fabric but this will be visible on the product page. Occasionally there are delays beyond our control and if the delivery passes 8 weeks we will offer you an alternative option to save any further delays.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All of our fabric is printed in batches to order and there may be some shade variation between batches, if you are buying matching products at different times we can not guarantee these will be of exact same shade and therefore would advise to order altogether to avoid any disappointment with print variation.
Please ensure you have read our full terms and conditions below before ordering, Alterme Home reserves the right to amend or change these policies as and when required.

MAINLAND UK ORDERS
Delivery is charged at £4.95 or free on all orders over £50
Couriers We Use
As a small business we use a variety of carriers and services, however most items are shipped via Royal Mail.
Delivery notifications & Tracking
Please note that orders under £50 will be sent as standard delivery, any orders over £50 will be sent with tracking and orders over £100 will be sent on a special insured service. Lost or missing items will be covered by Alterme Home and a full refund or replacement will be issued. This also covers damages occurred during shipment.
Delivery times
Once your order has been shipped please allow 5 working days for your order to arrive, we use a variety of shippers and methods depending on the size, weight and service.
Occasionally items do sadly go missing and if your item has not arrived after 14 days we can submit a claim and issue a refund or resend an item, this may take additional time to re make and we will let you know roughly how long.
OVERSEAS ORDERS
Delivery is set at standard prices for your specified country, overseas orders may be subject to import tax and duty charges which are NOT covered by Alterme Home.
Regrettably at this time overseas orders are exempt from our returns policy (see below for more information)
Couriers we use
We typically use 2 day air mail to ship overseas orders via DHL.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE MAKING AN OVERSEAS ORDER THAT WE CAN ONLY SHIP FABRIC ITEMS SUCH AS TABLE LINENS AND CUSHION COVERS OVERSEAS AND ARE NOT ABLE TO SHIP CUSHIONS WITH INNERS, SEPERATE INNERS, VASES, POTS OR OTHER BREAKABLES INTERNATIONALLY.
Regrettably we are not currently able to ship to the EU due to new shipping laws, we know lots of you would love our products and we are working on a way to offer this very soon!
Returns, Exchanges, Refunds & Exemptions
Returns process
We hope that you absolutely LOVE your new purchase, however, if you feel that the product does not suit your home or isn’t quite right please get in touch within 14 days of receiving to arrange a return via email; returns@alterme.co.uk. Please note that not all items are covered by our returns policy, see our returns exclusions below.
PLEASE NOTE - WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER RETURNS ON OVERSEAS ORDERS DUE TO IMPORT FEES.
T&C’s for Returns
Return postage must be covered by the customer and we advise that you use a tracked service. Please email returns@alterme.co.uk to arrange your return and allow 10 working days for refunds to be processed once item has been received back to us. Returns will only be accepted once received back to us in an unused and re-saleable condition with original packaging. NOTE the amount refunded will be for the item value only and will not cover your original postage fee.
We do offer sample packs of all of our fabrics and recommend ordering one of these first if you are unsure to save unwanted returns, we are also always happy to answer any product questions if you get in touch via our online form or email; info@alterme.co.uk
Return Exclusions
Items that are exempt from our refund policy:
Our dresses, which are only available to be exchanged for a credit note due to each dress being handmade to order especially for you.
Curtains and blinds - unless deemed faulty are non refundable as these are made to order and are unable to be sold on.
Bench seat cushions - as above unless deemed faulty are non refundable as these are made to order and are unable to be sold on.
As above if there is a fault with the construction of your item please do get in touch via email; help@alterme.co.uk, and if we agree the item to be faulty we will offer to repair or refund you within 14 days, refunds for faulty items will include any shipping paid and return shipping will also be covered by Alterme home only if your item is deemed faulty.
Returns Window
We know life gets busy so - if the 14 day returns window has passed and would like to return we will be happy to offer credit note up to 30 days after order has been received, however your return will incur a postage charge as return postage is to be covered by you (the customer).
Exchanges
If you would prefer to exchange your item we would be happy to offer an exchange for the same value, if you choose to exchange your item Alterme Home will cover the cost of your return. Please note that overseas orders are exempt from our exchange policy.
Cancellation Policy and Right to Cancel
Cancellation Policy To Consumer
Unfortunately once placed your order can not be cancelled, this is due to Alterme Home ordering fabric especially for you - or cutting fabric, please make sure you order fabric samples here or get in touch prior to ordering to save on returns.
Rights to Cancel by Alterme Home
Alterme Home reserves the right to cancel orders if there are issues and delays beyond control or if a fabric is no longer available or that the fabric quality is no longer acceptable from our suppliers. Cancellations are on a case by case basis and an alternative may be offered. This is in place to ensure the best experience and prevent delays or disappointment.
